If you hit a target, the target takes 6d8 cold damage and must attempt a Fortitude save. If you critically hit, the target gets a result one degree of success worse than it rolled on its Fortitude save. A creature reduced to 0 Hit Points is blasted to fine powder; its gear remains.
Critical SuccessThe target is unaffected by further damage.
SuccessThe target takes an additional 3d8 sonic damage.
FailureThe target takes an additional 6d8 sonic damage.
Critical FailureThe target takes an additional 12d8 sonic damage.

Heightened (+1) The cold and sonic damage each increase by 1d8.
