Some adventurers find purpose in faith or family, but many of the galaxy's heroes and troublemakers seek a greater cause. When they get together, they form a faction—a group of people dedicated to the same goals who share education or training. Many factions trace ancient roots to lost Golarion, some arose out of the confusion following the Gap, and many more emerged from distant worlds and recent times.
